Rochon Corporation has been providing general contracting services since 1985 throughout the Midwest to every sector of commercial construction from civil to industrial to high-end multi-family residential facilities.

Our history of success on diverse project types results from having a staff of professionals who not only know how to manage the processes of construction, but also have the technical understanding of how to build.

The relationships we build with subcontractors, coupled with our hands-on supervision, provide our superintendents with the resources necessary to execute complex projects successfully.

Scheduling

Rochon Corporation develops and maintains project schedules in house. Our project managers and superintendents work together with our subcontracting partners to develop overall schedules for a project and to generate monthly updates that are reviewed throughout the project to verify schedule compliance.

Because we are builders and not brokers of work, we do not have to rely on third-party consultants to sequence our projects. Our project personnel execute all scheduling tasks in-house, allowing them the flexibility to adapt to the unique dynamics of each jobsite without compromising their control of overall project planning.

By using the latest software, we are able to customize schedules and reports in order to clearly communicate our plan to all members of the project team, including subcontractors, vendors, and owners.

Safety

Rochon’s commitment to provide a safe work environment starts at the top with our corporate executives and is reinforced throughout the company with each and every employee.

Each project undergoes periodic safety audits by members of Rochon’s safety consultant. Our safety program, which emphasizes planning and education, includes:

• Job Hazard Analysis – With proper planning, most unsafe conditions on a jobsite can be engineered to minimize hazard exposure. Our superintendents are trained to review each task on a jobsite, identify potential safety concerns, and develop procedures to overcome them. The results are then communicated to the personnel who have a role in completing the tasks, and compliance is closely monitored;
• Site Specific Safety Plan – Each jobsite is required to have a safety plan identifying potential hazards and establishing controls to be implemented in order to ensure a safe working environment
